Engineering Virtual Labs, or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), is a system that allows the College of Engineering to offer software to TAMU students, faculty, and staff all over the world. We currently offer the software through the VMWare Horizon platform, which connects your computer to high-powered servers located on the A&M campus. Because all of the software runs on these the servers, you do not have to have a high-powered end device to run demanding applications…just an internet connection!
