Installing the Mersive Solstice Client

Personal Computers

  1. Connect your device to the network via wired connection, TAMU_WiFi, or eduroam

  2. Browse to the address in the top right-hand corner of the display.

  3. Click Get the App

  4. An installer will be downloaded. Run the file to install the Mersive Solstice client

  5. Open the Mersive Solstice client

  6. Click Conference on the left

  7. Click Install Drivers if prompted

    1. Click Next

    2. Accept the license agreement

    3. Click Next

    4. Click Install

University Owned Computers

Install the Mersive Solstice client via TAMU Engineering Self Service

Connecting to a Solstice Pod

 

  1. Connect your device to TAMU_WiFi or eduroam

  2. Open the Mersive Solstice client

  3. Under Start Conference, enter the address on the display

  4. Enter the screen key on the bottom left of the display to begin sharing

    1. Your desktop will be shared by default

    2. On the Share and Layout tabs, you can modify which windows you would like to display

    3. You will need to change your audio output device to output your desktop’s audio to the Solstice Pod
