Configuring the email forwarding of emails through Gateway and Google Apps ensures that all emails sent to your netid@tamu.edu will be delivered, stored, and viewable in both your Texas A&M Exchange and Gmail accountsaccount. The following steps will walk through how to set up forwarding for a all published email address addresses as well as how to set up forwarding for Texas A&M Gmail.
Forwarding for published email address
Login toAggie Account Gatewaywith your CAS login
Click on the EMAIL SETTINGSicon
Under Forwarding Delivery Settings, click on Edit
Select the following options in order to route the all emails sent to your NetID@tamu.edu address to your Exchange account:
Sent to and stored in my Texas A&M Exchange mailbox
When I send and reply to emails, this address should be displayed: My published email address
Click on the Save icon at the bottom of the screen to implement the new settings

Login to your Texas A&M Gmail account
Click on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen to open Settings
Under Quick settings, click on See all settings
Select the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab and then under the Forwarding section, click on Add a forwarding address
Please enter a new forwarding email address:
netid@exchange.tamu.edu
Click on Next
Click Proceed on the following pop up window and then click OK on the
followingnext pop up
windowsSelect Forward a copy of incoming mail to [netid@exchange.tamu.edu (in use)] and [keep Texas A&M University Mail’s copy in the Inbox]
Click on the Save Changes icon at the bottom of the page to implement the new settings
