ZACH-Guest Wi-Fi

The Zachry Engineering Education Complex utilizes ZACH-Guest Wi-Fi for reserved events held within the facility, where guests unaffiliated with the organization and others may access the network. The following steps will walk through connecting to ZACH-Guest through Windows, Mac, iPhone, and Android.

Enabling the ZACH-Guest network is done per event and may be requested through the Zachry Event Management System. No account or password will be necessary to connect to this Wi-Fi.

 

Connecting through Windows

  1. Click on the Show hidden icons arrow and then the Network icon on the taskbar in the bottom right corner. Alternatively, navigate to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Show available networks through the Windows search bar.

  2. Click on the ZACH-Guest tab and select Connect

  3. Once redirected to the TAMU Zachry Guest Wi-Fi screen, check the I accept the terms of use box

    1. Click on the now highlighted Accept & Connect icon to successfully connect to the network

Connecting through Mac

  1. Click on the Wi-Fi icon located in the menu bar at the top of the screen

  2. Select ZACH-Guest

  3. Once redirected to the TAMU Zachry Guest Wi-Fi window, check the I accept the terms of use box

    1. Click on the now highlighted Accept & Connect icon to successfully connect to the network

  4. Once redirected to the Join “ZACH-Guest” window, click on Done in the lower right corner

Connecting from iPhone

  1. Navigate to the Settings application

    1. Tap on the Wi-Fi tab, ensuring that Wi-Fi is turned on

    2. Select ZACH-Guest

  2. Once the following window pops up, check the I accept the terms of use box

    1. Click on the now highlighted Accept & Connect icon to successfully connect to the network

  3. Upon the redirected screen, tap on Done in the upper right hand corner

Connecting from Android

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen and then press and hold the Wi-Fi icon. Alternatively, navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi or Wireless & Networks.

  2. Select ZACH-Guest

  3. Tap on the Sign in to Wi-Fi network tab

  4. Once redirected to the TAMU Zachry Guest Wi-Fi window, check the I accept the terms of use box

    1. Click on the now highlighted Accept & Connect icon to successfully connect to the network
