Storage and Backups
Faculty, staff, and students in the College of Engineering may have access to the following file storage options.
COE-FS.engr.tamu.edu
COE-FS.engr.tamu.edu is the central storage system used by the College of Engineering and TEES. Most notably it is used for Departmental Share drives and Research storage including export control and ITAR data.

CrashPlan by Code42
CrashPlan offers a secure cloud environment for Faculty and Staff in the College of Engineering and TEES to back up their documents.
The TAMU System contract for CrashPlan will be terminated 2023.

Google Drive
Google Drive is a cloud storage service with unlimited storage included with the Google Apps connected to your TAMU Gmail account. Access is provided to all students by default, for Faculty and Staff an account has to be enabled.
OneDrive
OneDrive is a cloud storage service with up to 1TB of storage included with your TAMU Microsoft 365 account.
Syncplicity
The TAMU System contract is ending in December of 2021 and will not be renewed. The recommended replacement is Microsoft OneDrive, which now provides 5TB of storage space for Employees.
If you do not have much data in Syncplicity, you can download it all from the TAMU Syncplicity web portal and then upload it to the OneDrive service listed above. If anything is shared, you will need to reshare all folders again manually.
